A Pleasant Stay in a Mongolian Yurt at Heishantou

I had heard that the quality of yurts in Heishantou varies greatly, so before my trip, I compared several options, checked prices, and read reviews from previous guests. In the end, I chose to stay at the Jiali Tourist Ranch yurt and opted for the stargazing tent version, which comes with a skylight!

Although I have plenty of camping experience, this was my first time staying in a Mongolian yurt. The yurt at Jiali Tourist Ranch was quite luxurious (as seen in the photos), featuring two large beds that could accommodate a family of four. However, my travel companion and I each had a bed to ourselves, enjoying the entire yurt. The skylight can be opened with a remote control, making it convenient for stargazing at night, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a view of the outside scenery. The room is also equipped with air conditioning. The ranch also offers another type of yurt without a skylight, but I specifically wanted the deluxe version for a more indulgent experience—an occasional treat for myself!
