As we wrapped up our short vacation in Setiawan and made our way back north toward Penang, we decided to make one more stop — a quirky little detour at “Disneyland Ayer Tawar”.
Tucked away in Kampung Baru, Ayer Tawar, this small community park isn’t a real Disneyland, but it has its own nostalgic charm. There’s a painted mini castle, cartoon murals, and old-school playground structures that instantly bring back childhood memories.
🌳 The park was quiet when we arrived — perfect for a short walk, some fresh air, and a break from the long drive. The kids had a quick play, and we stretched our legs while soaking in the peaceful kampung vibes.
📸 It’s not a big attraction, but for a free and light-hearted stop, it added a sweet little moment to the end of our road trip. Just watch out for mosquitoes if you’re there in the evening!
Sometimes it’s these unexpected places — a local park with a Disney twist — that make the journey more memorable than planned.
