Indonesia’s tallest statue!

#bali

Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park is a tourist attraction located in Bali. It is closer to the airport (about about 10–15 minutes drive). It is a cultural park devoted to the Hindu god Vishnu and the mythical bird Garuda who became his companion. It is Indonesia’s tallest statue, inspired by a story from Hindu mythology.
The park is normally open from 8am to 10pm. The standard ticket was 125k per pax, includes welcome drinks/museum ticket. They have different events going on with some cultural performances that are beautiful and very interesting. It is a good-sized park with big open areas to walk around and take photos. The monument is huge and a good photo op. There are a few souvenir shops, restaurants and also a Starbucks.
