💞 Reasons to recommend: The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Ubud Palace.
You can watch the evening dance performance at Ubud Palace, have dinner, and still walk back to the hotel.
Traffic in Ubud is terrible, so being able to walk back to the hotel is a huge plus.
Meluda Boutique Hotel, located just off Bisma Street, is a boutique hotel with a true Ubud vibe.
You receive a welcome drink upon check-in.
The room I stayed in was a deluxe room on the third floor.
There’s no elevator, but the staff carried my luggage.
The room is the typical type you enter from the balcony, common in Bali.
The pool surrounded by Ubud’s greenery had clean water.
There was also a spa.
At around 6,000 yen per night, it’s great value for money!
💞 Reasons to recommend: Breakfast is served at a nearby affiliated café where you can choose from several options.
Buffets can be too filling, so café meals are a nice alternative.
On Bisma Street, where the hotel is located, there are cafés, restaurants, and massage places.
There’s less traffic than on the main road, so morning walks are very pleasant and highly recommended.
