"Kenkushi", a Kushiage Specialty Store, is located about a 6-minute walk from Nagahoribashi Station. This is a restaurant where you can enjoy creative skewers that are an adaptation of "kushikatsu", a typical gourmet food of Osaka. The owner, who trained at the long-established Osaka restaurant "Kushinobo", fries each skewer in front of you. The ingredients are rich in originality. You can enjoy a variety of types, from the standard to seasonal and carefully selected ingredients. This time, I ordered the "Manager's Random Course". They keep coming until you say stop. I was full after about nine pieces, but the shrimp was especially delicious. They also gave me advice on how to eat them, such as "I recommend it with sauce" and "I recommend it just as is."
