Nestled in the heart of Bali, in Ubud, this resort is perfect for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. 👫 Surrounded by tropical forests, it overlooks the breathtaking Ayung River valley and expansive rice paddies. Getting there is super easy, with convenient airport transfers provided by the resort.

The resort exudes romantic Balinese charm. Each villa showcases traditional Balinese architecture, complete with thatched roofs and elegant teak and coconut shell-inlaid redwood walls. Check-in was smooth, with friendly and welcoming staff who offered refreshing welcome drinks. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped by the tranquil atmosphere and captivating tropical ambiance.

👀 Stepping into the room was simply amazing! On our first night, we stayed in a duplex villa with a private pool. The villa was spacious and comfortable, and the unique atmosphere created by the Balinese textiles was instantly captivating. The room featured a separate living room and bedroom, and the luxurious bathroom included a bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak in the evening. The highlight was undoubtedly the private pool overlooking the Ayung River—swimming under the starry night sky was pure bliss.

🌟 The resort offers top-notch facilities and services to cater to most needs. The renowned L'OCCITANE Mango Tree Spa is a must-try. Situated atop mango trees, overlooking the magnificent Ayung River valley, enjoying a spa treatment while taking in the stunning views is an experience of pure luxury. The resort's small gym is well-equipped, and although a bit dated, it serves its purpose.

🌯 The dining experience here is also fantastic. La View restaurant offers delicious Southeast Asian and French cuisine. The breakfast spread is diverse, catering to a variety of tastes. I highly recommend trying the Indian specialties—they are truly exquisite.

There are also plenty of great spots to check out nearby. I recommend Balinese Home Cooking for traditional Balinese cuisine, Room 4 Dessert for sweet treats, and Honey & Smoke for delicious barbecue. Pizza lovers should head to Fuzion Pizza And Cuisine. Lembah Ayung Restaurant offers a diverse menu in an elegant setting.
