Ngurah Rai International Airport (code DPS) is the only airport on the island of Bali, Indonesia. It is located in the western central part of Bali.
The interior decoration of the airport is very beautiful, featuring Balinese architectural style. As you walk through, you will see statues resembling lions and decorative pillars with woven patterns, paintings, and various handicrafts that reflect the city’s ancient civilization, which is a unique characteristic of Bali. Art lovers will enjoy the artwork inside the airport.
The airport area also has shopping centers with various brand-name products, duty-free shops, and international restaurants. However, there is no free water dispenser service. When inquiring at the customer information desk, they said the free water dispensers were removed because people spilled water and made a mess in the airport. Free Wi-Fi service is available.
Transportation is convenient, about 10-15 minutes from tourist spots if you plan to stay near Kuta Beach or Jimbaran.
