How to spend your transit time in Bali 🥵✈️

This time, I will introduce how to spend about 10 hours of transit on the flight back to Japan from Australia 🇦🇺!

📍Denpasar International Airport
About 10 hours from 14:30-00:30

In Indonesia, you currently need a visa, an electronic customs document, and a passport with 6 months remaining.
The online VAO can be obtained up until 2 days before entering the country, so I missed the deadline and obtained it locally 🙌🏻

To get a visa, show your passport and pay 500,000 rupiah (about 5,000 yen). You can't use cards here, but I was able to use Japanese yen✨️I didn't exchange money so it was safe💦
After that, I headed to the automatic gate
After everything was done, I showed the proof that I had filled out the electronic customs form and the QR code, and all steps were completed🙄
Compared to visa-free countries like Singapore, it was a lot of hassle, but the visa line didn't take that long

When you try to leave the airport, a lot of taxi drivers are waiting to catch you. Try your best to get past them🙂↕️
The beach I was heading to was Kuta Beach, a 30-minute walk from the airport
Taxis also seem to be mostly paid in cash, and the bus was difficult, so I gave up and decided to walk
Basically there are no traffic lights, so if you want to cross, you have to watch the timing of the cars and motorbikes and force your way across🫠
There were a lot of people enjoying surfing and drinking on the beach! 🏖
The sunset is beautiful~💫

Basically, I went to a well-known cafe because chains are pretty safe, but...
The local shops were also attractive. Personally, the clean restaurant next to the hotel was a big relief in terms of security, but the sense of value...
I think there are many good quality places even if there are catches, so it might be a good idea to check the atmosphere of the shop each time to get through it.

At night, there were many local roads that were a bit difficult to walk due to security issues. I felt that the safest and most efficient way to spend time for transit people who are not staying at a hotel is to watch the sunset and then head straight to the airport and have dinner there.

It seems like it would be good to use taxis wisely to make better use of your time🕺
