We spent a lot of time deciding on a honeymoon destination, and Bali has been a trending spot among resorts lately. We took an evening flight on Sunday and arrived early the next morning. We stayed at the hotel for two days and tried the famous Bali Swing. I rented a red dress at the Bali Swing location for 150,000 IDR. I chose red because I thought it would look great in photos, and it really worked like magic for a beautiful back view. I highly recommend renting one. It was so hot on the day we went to the Bali Swing that taking photos was challenging, but the locals were excellent at taking pictures. This one was taken by my husband, but the ones taken by the locals turned out amazing too!
We also visited Lempuyang Temple. To save time, we packed our hotel breakfast to eat while waiting. We left our accommodation at 3:30 AM and drove for 2.5 hours to get there. After getting a queue number, we waited for two hours to take our photos. Despite the wait, the pictures were worth it! There were so many people trying to capture their perfect shots.
Next, we went to Taman Ujung Water Palace, which had lots of koi fish. We stayed for four nights in total: two nights at Mulia Resort and two nights at Mulia Villas. The Ocean Pool is the main pool at Mulia Resort, and many foreigners were relaxing on the beds there. Sunglasses are a must for Bali trips because of the intense sunlight. At Mulia Villas, we used buggies to get around, even to and from our accommodation. The villa had a private pool, which was fantastic for having our own space to relax. The interior was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. However, the lighting was a bit dim in the evening due to the warm-toned lights, though it was bright during the day with the curtains open.
On the fifth day, we had the floating lunch we were most excited about. We quickly took photos of the food on the water and then moved it to the table to eat. We also toured the southern part of Bali and visited Uluwatu Temple. The view of the ocean from Uluwatu Temple was stunning, with vibrant colors. Although it was very hot during the day, we had a great time. I would love to visit Bali again in the future.^^
