A Perfect Stay at Sideman and Samanvaya

We've visited Bali numerous times， but this was our inaugural stay in Sideman and at Samanvaya. We stayed in the Joglo Villa， which overlooked other villas and had a southern view. The villa offered ample space， a large bathroom with a bath and shower， an indoor daybed， a table for private dining， as well as a personal pool and loungers. We had very restful sleep with the soothing sounds of nature. When it rained， it was heavy， but mostly at night except for one day. The temperatures were pleasantly mild， much cooler compared to the coast. We relished the excellent spa treatments and enjoyed walking through the 'natural' local villages and scenery， including the rice fields. The standout aspect was the staff; whether assisting with vehicle transfers， waiting tables， providing massages， servicing rooms， gardening， or at reception， everyone was invariably cheerful， helpful， and respectful. Businesses thrive based on customer treatment， and the Samanvaya team is simply outstanding. The spa treatments are exceptional， and the restaurant 'Asri' serves quite simply the best food we've had in Bali. Kudos to the kitchen team. The resort is expanding with plans for a new spa facility， fine dining restaurant， a café/bistro， and additional villas. This development doesn’t disrupt your stay at all. There’s also a delightful gift shop selling local crafts (kolektif) and a small café (Citrus and Vine) that offers the best toasties and some sweet treats and refreshments. While everyone was fantastic， special thanks to Ari， Putra， Meli， Devie， Antari， and Puna for making our stay so very special. We will definitely return �.
