【Bali】Immerse Yourself in Nature! A Relaxing Spa Resort.

I stayed for two nights at [Maya Ubud Resort & Spa], located in the heart of Ubud.

【Basic Information】
○ About a 10-minute drive to Ubud's bustling "Ubud Palace" (if there's no traffic)
○ Approximately 40,000 yen per night for a standard room / Around 70,000 yen for a villa-type room (includes breakfast buffet)
○ Check-in at 3 PM / Check-out at 12 PM

【Recommended Points】 All of the following are free!
○ Plenty of activities
→ Yoga, on-site trekking, on-site hiking, afternoon tea, meditation, craft-making experiences, and more, with a variety of daily options.
○ Well-equipped facilities
→ Two pools, a gym, rice terraces, etc.
○ Nightly performances of traditional Balinese dances
○ Expansive grounds with abundant nature
○ Shuttle service to the city center
○ Delicious food

・Additionally, there are paid options such as cooking classes, advanced yoga sessions, spa treatments (30% off for guests), and on-site photo shoots.

【My Experience】
Including the cleanliness of the facilities and the hospitality of the staff, everything was excellent. While there are insects outside due to the natural surroundings, there were none inside the rooms.

With so many activities available, this resort is perfect for spending a relaxing day entirely within its premises. I highly recommend staying for at least two nights. Despite staying for two nights, the facilities were so extensive that I only had time to use one of the pools—there simply wasn't enough time!

The spa was particularly outstanding. Prices start at around 10,000 yen per person, but the experience of enjoying treatments by the riverside amidst lush nature was unforgettable. (I emailed in advance about reservations and was told that most slots were already booked by the time of check-in, so I hurriedly made a reservation several weeks prior.)

The resort has several restaurants, and both the location, ambiance, and food were exceptional!!! In Japan, you'd likely pay a few thousand yen just for a table charge, but here, you only pay for the food. For two people, we ate and drank to our hearts' content for around 5,000 yen. If you stay here, I highly recommend taking your time to enjoy a leisurely meal!
