
This is a rift lake located in the northern Junggar Basin in China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. Known in Uyghur as Galezharbash Lake, also known as Buluntohai and Dahaizi, it is the destination of the Ulungur River. The lake's surface elevation is 468 meters. The lake is triangular in shape, approximately 30 kilometers wide from north to south and 35 kilometers long from east to west, with a surface area of 827 square kilometers.
