I visited Compound Warung, a local eatery in Ubud. Although it's not very large, the space is neatly organized, making it a comfortable place to dine. The menu offers a wide variety of options, from Indonesian classics like Nasi Goreng and Mie Goreng to curries, salads, and grilled dishes. They also have vegetarian options, providing a broad range of choices. I ordered Nasi Goreng and a dish with tempeh, which had a mild and clean flavor, making it suitable for Korean palates 🍚. The Mie Goreng had chewy noodles paired with a sweet and savory sauce, complemented perfectly by the fried egg on top. For drinks, I opted for a fresh fruit juice, which was naturally sweet without added sugar, leaving me very satisfied 🥭. The prices are reasonable compared to Ubud's central area, and the portions are quite generous, offering great value for money. The staff were friendly, and the food was served quickly, so there wasn't much waiting time. Overall, it was a local eatery that exceeded my expectations in both taste and ambiance. It's a great spot to enjoy a relaxed meal while soaking in the local atmosphere in Bali.
