A kotatsu that you only see in the anime Shinchan is right in front of you! This is Yawaraginosato Yadoya, a ryokan in Yufuin full of Japanese sentiment. Before entering the accommodation, you can choose a 👘 yukata, and you can reserve a private open-air bath when you check in. The interior of the accommodation is very spacious, and a kotatsu is set up in a separate tatami space. When you turn on the kotatsu table, it gets warm quickly, and if you eat the free green tea and yuzu-flavored snacks in the warm kotatsu, your body will quickly feel tired. I put on a yukata and headed to the outdoor open-air bath that I had reserved. It is operated on a reservation system so that only individuals can use it, and you can use it for 50 minutes. ☁️ Not only can you enjoy an open-air bath while looking at the clear sky, but you can also watch the stars while taking a hot spring bath at night. ✨ Dinner is kaiseki and sukiyaki is served, and breakfast is a home-cooked meal full of Japanese sensibility, allowing you to experience the essence of traveling in Japan.
