I caught a fast boat from Gili T to Nusa Penida.
I arrived at around 14:30. After arriving at the port I rented a motorbike to get around.
I checked in at my hotel (Arsa Santhi) and rode to Kelingkling Beach (T-rex beach) 45 minutes away. The roads were bumpy and narrow but if you’re cautious, it isn’t too bad.
The next day, I went on a morning snorkeling tour and encountered 2 manta rays! After the tour, I drove an hour by motorbike to Diamond Beach. I was able to grab lunch and then I drove to the Teletubbies Hill.
My last day on the island was eventful. It had rained a bit so the dirt roads to Angel’s Billabong were more slippery and the potholes filled with water. Going down the slope was very dangerous and my motorbike skid a lot. Accelerating up the slopes was also scary and didn’t feel very safe. If you’re headed there on motorbike be very careful and cautious. I suspect it is very easy to lose control and have an accident.
I went to a lot of nice restaurants on the island including Secret Penida and Penida Colada. There were also nice coffee shops near Arsa Santhi. Don’t be afraid to try the local KFC - it’s quite cheap and delicious.
[If I could do anything differently I would organize a free shuttle to Arsa Santhi and rent a motorbike from them directly rather than some people at the port]
