A brand-new attraction near Ubud, Kemenuh Monkey River offers a unique and peaceful alternative to the busy Monkey Forest. Opened only a few months ago, it’s still quiet in the morning — perfect for those who want to explore nature without the crowds.

The entrance fee is 80K IDR per person (discounted from the usual 100K). Visitors can see and feed monkeys that have been rescued and cared for here — including rare white monkeys — as well as giant fruit bats. The riverside setting is lush and serene, and guests can even take a dip or join a traditional purification ritual.

We arrived around 11:30 AM, just in time for feeding, and saw plenty of monkeys! A peaceful, ethical, and memorable spot that deserves more attention.
