"Jin" Xi Bingzhou City (16) - Taiyuan Shanxi Financial History and Culture Museum

This white European-style building covers an area of 430 square meters and was formerly the Shanxi Provincial Bank. In 1912, the Shanxi Official Money Bureau was established here, and in 1919, the Shanxi Provincial Bank was established. In 1949, the Shanxi Branch of the People's Bank of China was established. This century-old building carries the glorious years of modern finance in Shanxi and has become a colorful chapter in the history of Shanxi's development.
The entire exhibition hall has three floors and is divided into five exhibition areas:
Shanxi Financial Origin, Shanxi Financial in the Republic of China, Red Shanxi Financial, Contemporary Shanxi Financial, New Era Shanxi Financial
They comprehensively and multi-dimensionally show the past and present of Shanxi finance to the public, thus deepening people's unforgettable attachment to this yellow land.
