Fairy Cliff | Apple Wallpaper Shooting Location

If you only have three days in Bali, make sure to dedicate two of them to Nusa Penida Island!
Nusa Penida, often referred to as the "end of the world," is an offshore island with surreal beauty, giving off a "hidden paradise on Earth" vibe!
This time, I spent two full days exploring: East Route + West Route, all-inclusive. Highly recommend saving this guide👇

🌊【Day 1 | Classic West Route】:
Kelingking Beach (Fairy Cliff)
The famous "Dinosaur Bay"! It's best to just take photos here as the path down to the beach is steep and dangerous, not recommended for casual attempts⚠️
• Photo tips: Visit before 10 AM or after 4 PM for softer lighting and fewer crowds
• Popular photo spots: The gap in the grass on the left of the viewing platform / Wooden fence by the cliff / On a stone slab for an upward shot of the bay
• Hiking tips: Wear non-slip shoes! If you're not physically fit, just take your photos and leave.
Angel’s Billabong + Broken Beach
Located near Kelingking Beach, the water here looks like a palette, and the natural arch is breathtaking
• Photo tips: Remember sunscreen and avoid wearing skirts as it's very windy
Crystal Bay (Sunset Spot)
Quiet and less crowded, the perfect way to end the West Route. Sit on the beach and watch the sunset cast its glow over the sea🌅

🏝【Day 2 | Enchanting East Route】:
Diamond Beach
One of the most photogenic beaches! Take photos along the cliffside trail for incredible depth
• Entrance fee: Around 25k IDR, be cautious while taking photos on the trail
• Photo spots: Turn back and shoot at the first corner of the stairs for stunning shots
Tree House (Rumah Pohon)
The legendary "iPad wallpaper location"! Dreamy yet secluded
• Photo fees: Entrance 25k + Photo fee 75k, with a time limit (about 1 minute)
• Strongly recommend avoiding noon! It's hot and crowded
Atuh Beach
Another beach near the Tree House, featuring a crescent-shaped sandy shore and cliffs, perfect for photos and a leisurely stroll
Quiet and serene, great for capturing stunning shots

🚤 Transportation & Tips:
Take a boat from Sanur Port in Bali to Nusa Penida (about 50 minutes)
👉 Book your boat tickets and car rental in advance. A full-day car rental costs around 600k IDR (including driver and fuel)
🧳 Tips: Avoid bringing suitcases as the roads are bumpy! Backpacks and sneakers are the way to go
🏨 If you have enough time, staying overnight on the island is highly recommended. It helps you avoid the peak crowds of day tours and allows you to enjoy the sunrise/sunset

📸 Photography Tips:
• Best times: 7-10 AM or after 4 PM
• Recommended outfits: Bright colors / White tops + straw hats look amazing here, avoid black as it absorbs light
• Pose ideas: Stand at the corner of the trail → Turn back for an upward shot; Back-facing the sea; Sitting against the cliff
