Locals are very warm and polite.
I have always preferred to be away from any major crowd scene & Nusa Lembongan/Nusa Penida is a must visit whenever one goes to Bali.
There’s various tour boat agency available that will get you to Nusa Lembongan from city.

City area has variety of mega malls/ department stores to shop too & plenty daily activities to do!
Bali is a lively place to visit :D
