DAY 6:
Today’s highlight of our trip to Sapa is to climb the highest peak in French Indochina (Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam) - Fansipan Peak, which is 3,143 meters high. First, we walked to Sun Plaza Shopping Mall and took the monorail to Sun World Fansipan Legend. Here we transferred to the Guinness World Record-certified non-stop & 3 The roped cable car climbs 1,410 meters through the clouds to the top station, and then climbs about 600 stone steps to reach the first-class triangulation point of Fansipan Peak. There are 3-4 triangulation points on three sides and a large flag stand, so that all tourists can find a suitable angle to take beautiful photos. This is also the junction of Vietnam and Yunnan, China, so you can also see many ethnic minorities-Hmong people, selling some handicrafts. On the way back, we enjoyed a sumptuous buffet at Fan Sam Restaurant; this electronic package includes monorail train + cable car + buffet lunch, about 1,500 yuan per person. There are many comments on the Internet that it is too expensive, but after the actual experience, I feel that it is more than worth the money. Think about it. In Taiwan, a casual buffet meal costs almost 1,500 yuan. Moreover, this mountain cable car has also won the Guinness World Record, but unfortunately, the clouds and fog on the mountain are misty and the visibility is poor. It really lives up to its name of "the foggy place where heaven and earth meet"!
