We had a lovely 3D2N family vacation at Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast, choosing to stay on weekdays for a more budget-friendly option. The hotel’s location is superb – just a minute’s walk to Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark, a 10-minute stroll to the white sandy beach, and close to local eateries.

The plush rooms were comfortable, equipped with Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, safes, and coffee-making facilities. Breakfast was included and made mornings convenient for our family.

The property offers plenty of amenities: a restaurant, a Mexican-themed pool bar and grill, a relaxed cafe, outdoor pool, gym, spa, yoga sessions, and a kids’ club. We especially enjoyed dining at the Mexican restaurant by the pool – the food was delicious. At the evening, the live band created such a delightful, vibey atmosphere.

For beach lovers, it’s only a short 5-minute walk, with the hotel providing dedicated beach chairs for guests. A big highlight was the staff – they were incredibly kind, helpful, and always welcoming with a smile, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Overall, Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast gave us a wonderful balance of relaxation, entertainment, and warm hospitality – perfect for a family vacation.
