My travel diary entry for Banff National Park is simply filled with superlatives. This place is beyond beautiful; it’s otherworldly. The moment you enter the park, you’re greeted by the most stunning alpine scenery imaginable, with jagged mountain peaks rising majestically above vibrant turquoise lakes. Lake Louise and Moraine Lake are the poster children for a reason—their colors are so surreal they don't seem real. I spent my days hiking through pristine forests, spotting elk and deer, and just soaking in the immense beauty. The town of Banff is a charming hub with a great vibe, but the real magic is out in the wilderness. It’s an essential destination for anyone who loves nature and an absolute bucket list item.
