Today, we will take you to visit the Art of the Land Museum, which is a place that collects important art pieces of the country. It is a valuable tourist attraction in Bang Pa-in District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.
The Art of the Land Museum collects masterpieces of fine art by craftsmen from the Sirikit Institute, the Foundation for the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations and Related Techniques of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother. The fine art works on display are exquisitely beautiful and meticulously crafted in the style of Thai craftsmanship.
The museum is divided into categories, with a personal audio guide, a commentary screen, and a touch screen displaying various information about the pieces.
The entrance hall displays a room of rainbow-green beetle wings, beautifully decorated with woven beetle wings.
The large exhibition room displays handicrafts such as silverware and goldware, enamel, and a replica of the royal barge fleet from the royal barge procession.
The second floor displays a large gold-filled scene from the Ramakien, using gold-filled work in 3D, and a scene of silk embroidery using the ancient method, using a small amount of silk. Or the smallest thread of silk embroidered with gradients and light and shadows to create a beautiful three-dimensional image, Buppa Mala, modeled from the Buppa Mala Maha Chakkraphat Phiman Throne Hall at the Amarin Winitchai Throne Hall in the Grand Palace, replicas of throne halls such as the Phuttan Thom Thong Throne Hall and the Phuttan Nakhon Kham Thong Throne Hall.
In addition, there are many valuable handicrafts such as woven yam lipao, carved wooden dolls in enamel, etc.
In the same area, there is also a building for learning about Khon and creative works related to Khon, as well as a collection of scenes and many prominent props that appeared on stage in various episodes.
