No nonsense sharing!
📍🗺️ Navigation address: Taohuajia Reservoir.
📍💁 Step-by-step nanny-level guide at the end picture, more outdoor sharing on the homepage, continuously updated.
⚠️ Respect nature, protect nature.
📒 Location overview:
0️⃣🆓 Free spot: No venue fee, no ticket required.
1⃣️🅿️ Convenient parking: Free parking along the road, marked in the picture.
2⃣️🚾 Restrooms available: Official public restrooms, marked.
3️⃣🧒 Child-friendly: Water play, forest, swings, hammocks.
4️⃣🐈⬛ Pet-friendly: Dogs allowed to play together.
5️⃣🏊 Swimming allowed.
6️⃣👮 Water area control: None currently.
7️⃣🏄 Equipment rental: Available, you can bring your own or rent on site.
8️⃣💦 Excellent water quality: Crystal clear water, jelly-like clarity.
9️⃣🎣 Fishing allowed (but I’m afraid you might catch a person).
🚩 Tips for playing:
0️⃣ Recommended red star ⭐️ location, combines camping spots, shade, and water entry points.
1️⃣ Time ⏰: Fewer people in the morning, rapidly increases after 2 PM, experience slightly declines, parking becomes difficult, recommend going early and staying until afternoon.
2️⃣ ⛰️ Best time: Afternoon light makes the water bluer, visually more jelly-like, sparkling water surface, more beautiful than in the morning.
3️⃣ 🌲 Water forest: Water covers the low bald cypress trees forming a forest; the closer to the shore, the shallower the water, both adults and children can stand inside and play.
4️⃣ ⛺️ Camping spots: Detailed guide marks camping spots; this is the best spot in my opinion, shaded by trees. Other small camping spots can be found but none as good as this one.
5️⃣ 🤿 Bring snorkeling gear.
6️⃣ 🍔 No food or drinks sold on site, be sure to bring your own snacks, bring extra food and water. Playing in water makes you thirsty and hungry.
7️⃣ 🐎 Suggest rushing to visit soon, this place might be closed off.
⚠️ Attention:
1️⃣ ⚡️ There are several utility poles in the water with power lines passing through, be careful, especially for drone users.
2️⃣ 👮 No management here currently, more and more people are coming, please be sure to practice civilized outdoor activities, take your trash with you, cherish this rare outdoor environment.
