Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province boasts many architecturally stunning temples, but Bang Pa-in District boasts a unique temple, Wat Niwet Thammaprawat Ratchaworawihan.

Wat Niwet Thammaprawat Ratchaworawihan is located on an island in the Chao Phraya River, on Koh Loi, Ban Len Subdistrict, Bang Pa-in District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. King Rama V commissioned the construction of this temple as a first-class royal temple, Ratchaworawihan, to serve as a royal merit-making venue when he visited Bang Pa-In Palace. Its highlight is its Gothic architecture, reminiscent of a Christian church.

To reach the temple, you must take a cable car across. The cable car departs every 5-10 minutes and seats 4-5 people.
