Wat BangpleeYaiKlang is a temple of the people, located in BangpleeYai Subdistrict, Bangplee District, Samut Prakan Province. It was built around 2367. It is a temple of historical and cultural significance. It has one of the largest reclining Buddha statues in Thailand and is highly revered by Buddhists.

Highlights of Wat BangpleeYaiKlang:
* Large reclining Buddha: The reclining Buddha statue is 26 wa, 1 sok, and 9 inches long from the top of the head to the feet, or about 53 meters, 7.5 meters wide, and 18 meters high. It is one of the largest reclining Buddhas in Thailand.

Heart of the reclining Buddha: Inside the reclining Buddha is the "heart of the Buddha", which is a popular spot for Buddhists to apply gold leaf for good fortune.

Architecture: The temple has beautiful architecture, with a meticulously built chapel and vihara.
