Praying at Phra Mahathat Chedi Phakdi

Phra Mahathat Chedi Phakdi Prakat, located at Wat Thang Sai in Bang Saphan District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, was built to honor His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) on the occasion of his 50th year on the throne. The architecture of the chedi is in the Rattanakosin style of Thai design. Situated atop Thong Chai Mountain, the chedi offers a panoramic view of Ban Krut Beach.
