4 beautiful royal monasteries in and around the capital
#VisitBangkokTemples
Teachings in temples, study the beauty of Buddhist art, and delight in Thai architecture that is easy to travel to and brings us closer.
Let's go to a friendly and cool place.
The intention of these 4 royal temples has a different atmosphere. What is similar when stepping into the temple area is a cool step and a comfortable feeling.
Starting with a riverside temple - Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchaworamahawihan
Riverside architecture and the principal Buddha image in the beautiful chapel, bright colors, the principal Buddha image, the mural with the destination of art, while the pagoda is decorated with meticulous Sangkhalok tiles and at various points.
Outstandingly, feel the breeze and admire the river together with the beautiful temple, the morning atmosphere and the sunset create a good feeling like the original place, just leaving a moment.
Move into the temple in the business district - Wat Pathum Wanaram Ratchaworawihan, a peaceful temple located on all sides, convenient and crowded in the commercial district, near the BTS Siam, a simple white temple, pay homage to the principal Buddha image and remember the teachers who gave moral value to the world. We are reminiscing about Venerable Ajahn Man Phurithatto (Luang Pu Man) on this auspicious day. Sit with your eyes closed, bring your mind to review your breath for a while, and then get up calmly and continue.
Temple near entertainment venue - Wat Chana Songkhram Ratchaworamahawihan
People from both Thailand and abroad travel to pay homage every morning until dusk to ask for blessings to reinforce their determination for happiness and success, and the beautiful principal Buddha image, which is located opposite Khao San Road.
Wow, today we came with rain.
Continue with beautiful temples in the morning. Let's continue to the last temple.
Community route temple - Wat Bowonniwet Vihara Ratchaworamahawihan, Bang Lamphu area, which looks like it is not far from Khao San Road, just like Wat Chana Songkhram. If you imagine, we start from Khao San Road, on the side of the original Wat Chana Songkhram Police Station. It is at the beginning of the alley, near Wat Chana Songkhram. Walk straight to the end of the road, turn left and you will reach Wat Bowon. Find an opportunity to pay homage to the large, radiant principal Buddha image, which is the temple of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Since he was ordained in 1956, it is a royal monastery that I often visit to pay my respects to the royal ashes of King Rama IX, which are enshrined under the base of Phra Phuttha Chinnasi, the principal Buddha image in the ordination hall.
Here are 4 royal monasteries that bring peace of mind to everyone I love.
