Longwang Mountain is located in Nanjing's Pukou District, along the Ningliu Expressway, 6 kilometers from the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge. From the intersection of Dachang, Pancheng, and Ningliu Roads, head west past Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology.

The main attractions include the Hidden Dragon Cave, Dragon King Temple, Dragon King Pavilion, Chengqi Tower, and the meteorological observation station of Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology.

Longwang Mountain, located in Nanjing's Pukou District, is a remnant of Laoshan Mountain. Named for its resemblance to a crouching dragon, it covers nearly 2,000 mu (approximately 1,000 acres), with its main peak 114 meters above sea level. Longwang Mountain Park, formerly known as the Longwang Mountain Forest Farm, was once an experimental forest farm of the Nationalist Government's Forestry and Reclamation Department's Scientific Laboratory. Established in 1929, the park initially featured a nursery, firebreaks, fire watchtowers, and forest police. By the early years of liberation, the park was fully greened.

Longwangshan is adjacent to the Pukou campus of Nanjing University to the south; to the east, it is near the Nanjing Chemical Industry Park, home to major enterprises such as Nanjing Iron and Steel, Nanjing Chemical Industry, Huaneng, and Yangzi Petrochemical; and to the north, it borders Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. Just over one kilometer from Jiangbei Avenue, it is separated from Nanjing's main urban area by a river. Bus No. 606 provides direct access to the park, and it is located next to the Ningliu Expressway, six kilometers from the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge.
