[Takayama Sakurayama Hachiman Shrine]

When I went to Takayama, I found this shrine after passing a large torii gate.

I happened to come across this place while walking through the old streets of Takayama, but it was a beautifully maintained and magnificent shrine with a solemn atmosphere. The autumn Takayama Festival, which is held here every year, is also registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.

It is also a place where you can receive a goshuin stamp, so if you are a goshuin collector, why not go and check it out?
