Truly mesmerizing experience

Just beautiful. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha is within the gates of the Grand Palace. Upon entering the palace, we were immediately struck by the golden sheer size stupa and awe-inspiring architect symbolizing elegance, tranquility and serenity. Simply captivating, with intricate murals, beautifully manicured gardens and the peaceful ambiance made it a truly memorable and spiritual journey. Exploring the grounds, we discovered various ornate buildings and shrines, each with its own unique charm and significance.

Highly recommend visiting early morning to beat the crowd. To make the most of the visit, recommend getting guided tours or informative plaques provide valuable insights into the statue's origins and the beliefs associated with it. Visitors are required to dress modestly and remove their shoes before entering the temple.

Also recommend visiting Wat Poh, Museum Siam, grab a bite a Rong Ros (michelin star), stroll Tah Maharaj for more restaurants and cafe, cross the river to Wat Arun, enjoy a drink and sunset view at Eagle Nest rooftop bar - a wonderful day out!
