Hotel Mermaid Bangkok is actually just a little bit into Sukhumvit Soi 29. Although the location is a bit awkward, being between Phrom Phong and Asoke BTS stations, it only takes about 10 minutes to walk to these two major tourist stations. The location is quiet yet busy.

The lobby is clean and bright. It was recently renovated into an ocean theme, which is quite suitable for taking photos and checking in. Nick lives in a Corner Suites, which has lots of windows and good lighting. The curtains are all blackout cloth, so there is no need to worry about the glare of the sunlight in the morning, which is very considerate.

The feature of Corner Suites is that there is a large balcony with a coffee table and chairs outside. The room is about 43 square meters and has ample space. There is a window behind the head of the bed, and behind the window is the bathroom with curtains. The bathroom is quite spacious, and the bathtub is huge enough for taking photos of internet celebrities. In addition to the bathtub, there is also a dry and wet separated shower room.

The breakfast restaurant is nicely decorated and the hotel also has a small swimming pool. The price including tax is about $500 per night, which is very cost-effective!
