[Kumamoto Trip] A little-known power spot shrine surrounded by bamboo forests

A shrine we stopped at during our trip to Kumamoto

I didn't know this until we went, but it's apparently a power spot known to those in the know⛩
Just from the name, it sounds powerful🐉

It's located right next to Ryumon Dam and is surrounded by large trees

Go through the large torii gate and go down the stairs in the bamboo forest to another smaller torii gate
You can go further inside and worship

There's also a river flowing, and there was a large cedar tree called Meoto Sugi🌲
We got to touch the tree

It was a small shrine, but other people besides us came to worship one after another! There were quite a few young people there, so I'm convinced that this shrine is surprisingly well-known ⛩
