The Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha are royal property of Thailand. Kings Rama I to Rama VIII resided within the Grand Palace, making them sacred and revered for Thais. Therefore, please adhere to the following rules before entering:

1. Dress Code: Appropriate clothing is required to show respect.
➢ Off-shoulder, midriff-baring, and tight-fitting clothing are strictly prohibited.
➢ Shorts are prohibited. Shorts here refer to pants that do not reach the knees and should not be too tight or have holes.
➢ Short skirts are prohibited. The definition of a short skirt is the same as that of shorts above.
➢ If wearing traditional Thai clothing, please choose modest and appropriate styles, such as traditional Thai court dress or traditional Thai banquet dress (chitralada).
➢ When visiting Wat Phra Kaew, please remove your hat and slippers. Photography is prohibited inside the shop.
2. Other Notes
➢ Please do not enter unauthorized areas or areas marked with warning signs.
➢ The use of aircraft and drones is strictly prohibited within the Royal Domain.
➢ Please do not take photos or videos in unauthorized areas.
➢ Livestreaming of any kind is strictly prohibited within the Grand Palace.
➢ Please do not film the Royal Guards patrolling the Grand Palace grounds.
