This area is home to a variety of shops selling everything from food to clothing, bags, shoes, jewelry, cosmetics, and souvenirs. Because of its size, Chatuchak is a great place to shop for gifts for friends and family.

There's also a large shopping center nearby, making it a great place to browse. Both offer reasonably priced Thai products rather than a department store-like atmosphere.

Food isn't expensive, but it's more affordable than local restaurants. In addition to Thai dishes like Pad Thai, they also offer a variety of international dishes like kebabs, so I recommend trying them out.
