MRT Hua Lamphong..walk to Wat Traimit

#Travel along the electric train line

Start from MRT Hua Lamphong Station, Exit 1, then turn left onto Rama IV Road, turn into Thai-Chinese Friendship Road, walk for about 3-4 minutes and you will arrive.

Wat Traimit Witthayaram is located on Trimit Road, Talat Noi Subdistrict, Samphanthawong District. It is an ancient temple in the monastery area. It is a wooden house. The original name was "Wat Sam Chin". It is believed that 3 Chinese people built the temple together as a temple for making merit.

When you come to Wat Traimit, you must not miss paying homage to Phra Sukhothai Traimit, which is the largest golden Buddha statue and is recorded in the Guinness Book.

It is assumed that this golden Buddha statue was built in the Sukhothai period. It was originally enshrined at Wat Mahathat, Sukhothai Province.
