#triptravelchina
- Santichaiprakarn Park is a community-level public park built on an area of approximately 8 rai, around Phra Sumen Fort, at the end of Phra Athit Road, next to the Chao Phraya River, at the mouth of Khlong Bang Lamphu. It was built on the occasion of the auspicious ceremony to celebrate the 60th birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great on December 5, 1999. Inside the park, there is the Santichaiprakarn Throne Hall, which has the royal celebration symbol, along with a pier for receiving the royal barge, to present as a place for holding various royal ceremonies related to the Chao Phraya River.
- Santichaiprakarn Park is a good example of the development of an old city with history and ancient sites. It is a multi-purpose recreational place that is useful for relaxation, education, and conservation (Phra Sumen Fort).
