That child is me today. "INNER CHILD" is an art exhibition that will take us on a journey back to experience the heart of the child within us again by Keng Jeans (Keng Jin - Nontakorn Wachirakosi).
The exhibition tells a profound story about the childhood identity that still exists in all of us. Even though we grow up with time, the memories, laughter, and simple happiness of "that child" are still hidden inside, waiting for the day we will come back to discover and hug them again.
The artist was inspired by his own childhood memories, which were filled with happiness and a sense of security from his favorite toys, especially the teddy bear, which was like a close friend and a representative of love and warmth on a lonely day.
The artist uses the teddy bear as an important symbol that reflects his childhood identity and conveys those memories in the form of surrealism art that combines dreams and imagination, resulting in a unique character that contains feelings of sadness, yearning, and warmth at the same time, creating a contradictory feeling between the brightness of childhood and the feeling of loneliness hidden within. In addition, the composition of the image creates a sense of an imaginative world that invites us to dive into and explore the limitless world of dreams and imagination.
This exhibition takes us back to explore the heart of the child within us, and the simple happiness that many people may forget when they grow up. It emphasizes that our childhood identity has never disappeared, but is hidden inside, waiting for the day we will return to comfort and grow together again.
