In the evening, I climbed the steps to Wat Saket, the Golden Mount in Bangkok. This temple stands like a silent golden pearl above the city's hustle and bustle. The clear and resonant sound of the bells on either side of the steps seemed to offer a calming tribute to every climber. As I ascended, the view gradually opened up, and the air carried a hint of grass and incense, bringing a sense of tranquility.
At the top, the golden stupa shone brilliantly in the sunset, like a beacon in the sky. Overlooking Bangkok, the city's bustling life and fireworks were all in view; the distant Chao Phraya River sparkled with shimmering waves, blending with the twilight into a serene picture. At this moment, the sound of monks chanting came to my ears, deep and powerful, as if reminding people to cherish the present peace.
The dusk at the Golden Mount is not only a visual feast but also a journey of dialogue with the soul. In this golden light, busy thoughts are soothed, and a quiet Zen feeling arises.
