Wat Muang Khai is one of Bangkok's most historically and culturally significant Buddhist temples, located in the heart of Bangkok's Chinatown. Built in the late 19th century, the temple was originally named Wat Rong Khun and is one of the most important Chinese temples in Thailand. The architecture of the temple combines Thai tradition and Chinese cultural elements. Whether it is the magnificent temple hall or the exquisite carvings, it gives people a deep impression.
Mengkai Temple is very popular and attracts many believers to worship. Especially during the Chinese New Year, the area around the temple is always bustling. The statues of the Dragon King and other Chinese gods in the temple are full of strong Chinese style, making visitors feel as if they are in an ancient Chinese temple.
