The Hainan Agarwood Culture Museum, Cenxiangfang Agarwood Museum, is located in the Xinglong Overseas Chinese Tourist Area in Wanning. It houses thousands of rare Hainan agarwood pieces, each truly a treasure. In terms of both the quality and quantity of its collection, it is considered the premier agarwood museum in China. Regarding Hainan agarwood, a Song Dynasty scholar once commented: "Champa is inferior to Chenla, and Chenla is inferior to Hainan Lidong. Among the Lidong, the one from Wan'an Limu Mountain and Dongdong is the best in the world. It is called Hainan agarwood, and one piece is worth ten thousand coins."
The museum is divided into five themed halls: the Agarwood Collection Hall, the Agarwood Carvings Hall, the Incense and Tea Ceremony Performance Hall, the Handmade Incense Making Hall, and the Traditional Chinese Studies Training Hall. While showcasing Hainan agarwood, it also offers training in traditional incense, tea ceremony, Chinese studies, and flower arrangement. Here, you'll learn about agarwood and fall in love with it.
