✨️PhraSumenFort was built as an outer wall of the city along the canal around the city in the reign of King Rama I to the Chao Phraya River.

✨️At first, there were 14 forts: Chakphet, Phisuea, Chan, Phra Athit, Phra Sumen, Mahakan, Mahachai, Mahaprab, Mahayak, Maharerk, Yukandhara, Isinthara, Suea Tayan, and Mu Thaluang. Later, the forts fell into disrepair, so they were almost all demolished, leaving only Mahakan and Phra Sumen forts.
