#Bangkok Itinerary
Bangkok leisure day tour route ✨
Essential apps for free travel:
• Navigation software: Google Maps
• Take a taxi: Bolt/Grab, bind your bank card in advance
• Translation software: Google Translate
Stop 1: Grand Palace/Wat Phra Kaew
• Take a taxi to the east intersection of the Grand Palace’s north gate (Exit 1 of Sanam Chai MRT Station on the Blue Line, a longer walk), and walk to the Grand Palace.
• It is recommended to book a Chinese guided tour in advance. The palace is rich in details, with diverse architectural styles, well preserved and magnificent.
• Clothing requirements: No sleeveless, navel-baring, short skirts, or ripped jeans.
Stop 2: Wat Pho
• Walk for 15 minutes along the west road from the Grand Palace to the intersection, then walk east (left) to the Reclining Buddha Temple.
• This is the largest reclining Buddha in Thailand, so big that it almost can’t fit into the temple, and it is also the place with the most Buddha statues in Thailand.
Stop 3: Wat Arun
• After visiting the Reclining Buddha Temple, head west to the pier and take a ferry directly to the Arun Temple scenic area.
• This is the best place to take photos in Thai costumes, and the night view is even more charming at night.
Stop 4: ICONSIAM
• After visiting Wat Arun, go to Pier 1 and take a boat to ICONSIAM.
• Very beautiful appearance! A new landmark in Bangkok! The underground floor is a paradise for food, with cheap prices, cleanness, and variety.
Stop 5: Night Cruise on Chao Phraya River
• The boat has fixed seats, the buffet has a lot of variety but the taste is average, the highlight is to enjoy the night view of the Chao Phraya River, the Wat Arun is especially beautiful at night.
• There will be singing and transvestite performances on the boat, and tips are required for taking photos.
• The whole trip lasts 2 hours, from 7 to 9 pm.
