Checked into the Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park, located near the lush Lumpini Park, offering a tranquil atmosphere. Today, I visited the Siriraj Medical Museum in Bangkok, housed within a medical university, providing a profound reflection on death and science.
The museum exhibits a vast collection of human anatomical specimens, forensic evidence, and pathological cases, which are both shocking and thought-provoking. Standing before these real-life remains and stories, I felt the fragility of humanity and the silent respect of science. It’s not horror, but a calm and profound education. In the evening, I strolled through the park and gazed at the stars, making the fragility and preciousness of life suddenly tangible. Returning to the hotel, I sat quietly by the window, gaining a newfound humility towards life.
