Located on Hudi Road in Beitou District, next to the first parking lot of Yangmingshan Park, Grass Mountain Resort was Chiang Kai-shek's first residence upon arriving in Taiwan. It boasts stunning views and rich cultural, social, and historical significance.

Caoshan Pavilion is a typical Japanese-style building. Its original interior was divided into a hall, a main hall, a reception room, a study, bedrooms, a master bedroom, a living room, guest rooms, a kitchen, a courtyard, and a terrace. After being redeveloped into an art salon, it is now divided into Meilu, Yinhe Hall, Cuiying Hall, Daya Hall, and Jieshou Hall.
