When traveling to Bangkok, the Grand Palace is definitely a classic landmark that you cannot miss! This time I visited this place in person and was deeply shocked by this magnificent complex. I quickly organized a guide to share with you~
The Grand Palace was built in 1782. As the best-preserved, largest and most national palace in Thailand's history, once you step into it, you will be instantly surrounded by magnificent spires, exquisite murals, and buildings inlaid with colored glass and gems, all of which demonstrate the dignity and luxury of the Thai royal family. The main building, the Emerald Buddha Temple, is the most important. The Emerald Buddha enshrined in the temple is Thailand's national treasure. It is carved from a whole piece of jade. Its gorgeous robes are changed in different seasons, making it solemn and sacred.
📸Photography tips: It is recommended to go before 10 am or after 3 pm. At this time, the sun shines obliquely and sprinkles on the golden buildings. The light and shadow are excellent, and every shot will be a blockbuster! It is recommended to wear solid-colored clothing, which can better highlight the gorgeous background.
⚠️Notes: Visitors must strictly abide by the dress code and avoid wearing shorts, short skirts, and off-shoulder clothing. Clothing rental services are available at the entrance; shoes must be taken off when entering the room and keep quiet throughout the visit.
📍Transportation: Take the BTS to Saphan Taksin Station, then transfer to the Chao Phraya River bus boat to N9 Pier and get off the boat. The Grand Palace is not only a treasure of architectural art, but also a window to understand Thai culture and history. Add it to your Bangkok travel list!
