Bangkok is a city that buzzes with life — a whirlwind of markets, street food, and nonstop energy. But tucked away in the artsy neighborhood of Ari, I found a peaceful sanctuary that felt like it belonged in another world altogether: Craftsman Bangkok.
From the moment I arrived, the hotel gave off an air of effortless cool. With its minimalist industrial design, clean lines, and raw textures, it struck the perfect balance between modern edge and cozy retreat. Think polished concrete, warm woods, and soft lighting that instantly makes you feel at ease. The atmosphere? Calm, inviting, and just what I needed to recharge after days of city exploring.
My room was a true haven — surprisingly spacious with high ceilings and thoughtful details throughout. The bedding was fluffy and luxurious, the lighting soft and adjustable, and the rain shower? An absolute dream. Every night felt like a spa retreat, and every morning it was a struggle to leave the cloud-like comfort of the bed.
Breakfast at Craftsman deserves its own spotlight. Served in their stylish café, the dishes were fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor — think brunch-worthy plates with quality ingredients. The coffee was another highlight: rich, aromatic, and barista-crafted to perfection. It felt less like hotel dining and more like being at a trendy café tucked into a leafy corner of town.
And then there’s the pool — a serene, leafy escape framed by greenery and thoughtfully designed lounging spaces. It almost felt like a secret garden hidden behind concrete walls, where time slows down and the chaos of the city fades into the background.
What truly made my stay special, though, was the people. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help — whether it was recommending a local noodle spot, arranging transport, or simply greeting me with a smile that made the place feel more like home.
The location in Ari couldn’t be more ideal. It’s a laid-back, creative neighborhood filled with local cafés, indie shops, and a real #bangkokhotel
