[Bangkok🇹🇭] Symbol of dawn🌙 Wat Arun

"Wat Arun" is a very famous temple in Bangkok, Thailand.

There is a ferry stop right in front of the temple, so I recommend taking a ferry or bolt.

Also known as the "Temple of Dawn," it is symbolized by a beautiful white tower that stands on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. It was originally built in the late 17th century, but its current form seems to have taken place around the beginning of the 19th century.

It is also related to the Thai royal family and is one of the temples that has watched over the history of the founding of Bangkok.

The biggest feature of Wat Arun is the large pagoda that stands in the center, about 70 meters tall.

This pagoda is finely decorated with colorful ceramic fragments, shells, and colorful glass, and looks very beautiful against the blue sky and sunset.

You can climb to the top of the pagoda and enjoy views of Bangkok city and the river.

However, be careful as the stairs are a bit steep! ⚠️

The Chao Phraya River flows right in front of the temple. This allows you to enjoy a fantastic view 🎶
We also recommend renting a siwa rai nearby and taking photogenic photos that are typical of Thailand 📸

📍Location: 158 Thanon Wang Doem, Wat Arun, Bangkok Yai, Bangkok 10600 Thailand
🕰️Opening hours: 8:00-18:00
