The East China Sea Wonderland is located on the southern foot of Wangye Mountain in Pingtan, Fuzhou . It consists of the Fairy Well, Fairy Cave, Fairy Valley, Fairy Peak, Fairy Pillar, Fairy Terrace, Fairy Spring, Wangye Valley, Golden Guanyin, Oyster Reef and other landscapes.
Here, a natural sea-eroded vertical shaft, nearly 50 meters in diameter and over 40 meters deep, is known as the " Immortal Well . " Its walls are steep, and three small holes at the bottom connect it to the ocean. Next to the " Immortal Well " is a large canyon, resembling a fissure in the middle of a mountain, called the "Immortal Valley."
The Golden Guanyin is the climax of the fairyland series. Every summer morning from 5 to 7 a.m., when the sun shines on the cliffs more than 30 meters above the sea, a semi-relief image of Guanyin Bodhisattva appears on the red rock in a natural stone cellar, radiating golden light and looking mysterious.
