When failure is not the end✨✨

When failure is not the end, but the beginning of courage "Failure as Fuel: On Berbrain's Embrace of the Uncertain" An exhibition that invites us to question what we often avoid and hide, such as failure, fear, and uncertainty in life by artist Berbrain.

Berbrain (Bernandi De Sanda) created the character "Berbrain" by combining the words "Ber" (from his name) with "Brain", reflecting the idea that "everything starts from thought." His artwork is full of fantasy worlds with animals, monsters, and strange characters in their own universes, all of which move lively in the paintings.

This exhibition presents a bold idea of embracing failure as fuel for growth. In a society that always celebrates success, certainty, and a good image, Berbrain chooses to talk about the opposite: mistakes, imperfections, and ignorance, which he sees as the real space of creativity.

The artist works with oil paints, pigment sticks, opaque pens, and sprays to create images full of violent movement and explosive emotions. His images often look like the backdrop of a war or the middle of a battle, asking the question: Is this failure? Or is it courage? What we see as failure, may actually be the first door to change?

This exhibition does not present “failure” in a negative way, but reinterprets it as a field of experimentation, a play area, a practice, and an opportunity to start something that has no end in sight. Berbrain does not give the audience answers, but rather creates a space for everyone to ponder the meaning of “not yet succeeded” in their own way.
